Binu George, CFA, serves as the Chief Investment Officer of Hillenbrand Capital Partners. Prior to Hillenbrand, he served as a Managing Director at Willett Advisors, almost since its inception, for a decade. Willett is an entity in the Bloomberg Family Office and serves as the investor advisor for the assets of the Bloomberg Family Office including those of the Bloomberg Family Foundation. Binu was responsible for portfolio management, investment manager/operational due diligence/financial and business diligence across all asset classes and investment opportunities.
Prior to joining Willett, he was a Managing Director at Sterling Stamos where he focused on leading investment manager due diligence reviews for the firm’s investment funds and multiple families across all asset classes. Prior to joining Sterling Stamos, he was the Sr. Vice President/Director of risk and control management at Citi Alternative Investments. At Citi, he was responsible for various aspects of risk management covering various alternative investment businesses. Prior to Citi, he worked as a Group Manager at IBM Global Services and as an Analyst at Parametric Technology Corporation.
He graduated with an MBA degree from Cornell University, Johnson Graduate School of Management. He also has a graduate degree from Birla Institute of Technology & Science and an undergraduate engineering degree from the University of Madras. He is a CFA charter holder and a member of CFA Society New York.
